Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Subject to availability and assessment, we can often arrange care at short notice to support safe and timely hospital discharge, helping individuals return home with the care they need.
Yes. We provide both single-carer and double-carer support depending on each person's assessed needs, ensuring care is delivered safely, professionally and with dignity.
No. Alex C&C Healthcare is not an incontinence product supplier and we do not routinely provide continence products as part of our care services.
However, through our "Hands for Help" Community Support Programme, we may be able to provide a small emergency supply of essential continence items—such as incontinence pads, barrier creams, cleanser sprays, wet wipes and dry wipes—to individuals and families facing unexpected circumstances, such as a delay in receiving their usual order, financial hardship or following a recent hospital discharge.
This programme is made possible through generous community donations. All donated products are new, factory-sealed, unopened and carefully checked before being distributed, helping to maintain high standards of infection prevention, safety and dignity.
As supplies depend entirely on donations, availability cannot be guaranteed and assistance is offered on a case-by-case basis.
We currently provide domiciliary care services throughout Bristol and South Gloucestershire. If you're unsure whether we cover your location, please contact our team and we'll be happy to advise.
